Our law firm utilizes and relies on a solid support staff with a tremendous amount of experience. We employ four full-time paralegals with an average of fourteen years paralegal experience and over 50 years of combined service with our firm.
We also have with our firm a full-time nurse consultant who assists on the numerous cases involving medical issues and personal injury, handled by Tucker, Everitt, Long, Brewton & Lanier. Our Nurse Consultant, Anita Black, MHSA, has 32 years experience in the medical field and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing together with a Masters Degree in health services administration. Her academic background is coupled with twenty years of practical hands-on nursing care and hospital administration work that brings added value for our clients in cases involving medical issues. The MCG School of Nursing Alumni Association recently awarded Ms. Black with the E. Louise Grant Distinguished Alumnus Award at their annual homecoming banquet and awards presentation in April, 2006. This award is given in recognition of exemplary dedication to the profession of nursing.
In addition to our paralegals and nurse consultant, we also have round-the-clock access to a full range of investigative services. This includes our primary investigator who has more than twenty years experience in the United States Army as a warrant officer in charge of criminal investigations.
We also rely heavily on the services of our seven legal secretaries, each of whom has an average of twenty-two years in this specialized field. We have an extremely low turnover rate for our employees and believe the firm's support staff provides the type of continuity required in connection with a well-managed and efficient law firm.
