A. ZACHRY EVERITT
A. Zachry Everitt was admitted to the practice of law in 1963, and practices in the areas of corporate and business law and commercial real estate. His emphasis is on corporate acquisitions and commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Everitt also provides direct, deferred, construction and reverse exchange services under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Mr. Everitt is a member of the State Bar of Georgia where he served on the Executive Committee of its Real Estate Section. He has been a fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys since 1975.
After earning a bachelors degree in finance from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia in 1961, he entered the University's School of Law, receiving a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1964. While in law school, he served as Executive Editor of the Student Editorial Board, Georgia Bar Journal and as Governor of his senior class. In 1963, he was awarded the Shinn Memorial Award for the best published legal writing by a law student during the school year.
