Tucker, Everitt, Long, Brewton & Lanier was founded in 1971. Since its inception, the firm has aggressively focused on trying cases.

Our firm is perhaps best known for defending civil actions and handling large plaintiff class action suits that have won those we represent hundreds of millions of dollars. Our clients include Georgia’s largest electrical utility, the state’s largest medical and legal malpractice insurance companies, its largest automobile liability insurer, and other individuals and corporations with a lot to win or lose in the litigation arena.

Yet our bread-and-butter work also includes smaller scale cases that help everyday people and businesses through difficult matters such as those who have been severely injured or facing bankruptcy or divorce. Simply put, we work hard for our money and welcome “walk in” traffic.

Tucker, Everitt, Long, Brewton & Lanier is a boutique litigation firm. Our small size gives us an edge. We do not throw teams of inexperienced associates on a case, running up a client’s bill with minor legal work or missteps. Each case is assigned to a seasoned attorney who has the authority and experience to assess and resolve it as efficiently as possible.

Our firm has very little turnover of either lawyers or staff. In fact, of our six attorneys, four have never worked anywhere else.

This continuity also adds to an unusual spirit of camaraderie and cooperation among our ranks. This, in turn, means clients get the benefit of a team consultation concept without the cost. We commonly put our heads together to work out legal problems at no extra expense to our clients.
